I was born and raised in Sanremo: I have known this city, its property market and the people who live here all my life.

Before focusing on property transactions I spent many years in condominium management, an experience I draw on every day in this work. I know residential buildings from the inside: when I visit an apartment I already know which building-related issues could complicate a sale.

In 1996, while I was still working in condominium management, a licensing course for real estate agents was announced — the exams had been suspended for years — and I decided to take part. I passed and have been a licensed agent ever since. I have handled around 300 transactions, all managed personally from valuation to deed signing. I have had employees, but I realised that was not the way I wanted to work: staying small gives me something I would never give up — the ability to choose which clients to work with.

Another thing that sets me apart from colleagues is a lifelong passion for technology, sometimes more prominent, sometimes less. I started programming in 1984, as a teenager. I believe I was one of the first agents in Sanremo to use electronic signatures: for anyone working with clients who do not live locally, it changes the way you work entirely.

That same curiosity led me to do something unusual: build this website myself. Many agency websites look alike, because the focus tends to be on cosmetic choices — colours, featured properties, and little else. With this project I started from the right questions: who am I? How do I work? What do I need the website for? What do I want to communicate? It is the first time in thirty years that what you see online genuinely reflects who I am and how I work.

I handle a small number of sales at a time. And that is a choice.
